We believe education shouldn't depend on what a family can afford. Every quiz, topic and practice activity is free, with or without a subscription. An optional future subscription for parents adds progress analytics and updates — never access to the learning itself.
Every question is written and verified against the public Singapore MOE syllabus for its level and subject — none of it is scanned or copied from official past-year papers. Question types include multiple-choice, multi-select, short written answers, ordering/sequencing, Chinese stroke-order writing, and open-ended answers an AI can grade for working, not just the final number. Content is produced through an AI-assisted authoring pipeline with answers checked before anything ships, and every question carries a ⚑ Report this question link so mistakes get caught and fixed.
Difficulty is graded per question, and a Placement diagnostic estimates where a new student should start so they're never stuck redoing what they already know or thrown into what they don't. A wrong attempt reveals the next hint tier instead of failing outright, so a hint-assisted correct answer still earns full stars and XP — the loop rewards effort and persistence, not just first-try accuracy. Daily Quest turns that into a five-minute daily habit.
A child's brain naturally values an immediate reward over a distant one — an exam next month is too abstract to feel motivating today, and a worksheet gives no visible sign anything is being built. That's the gap Lumlings are built to close: every correct answer grows something your child can see and feel right now — XP fills a bar, a Lumling hatches, levels up and visibly cheers. A hint-assisted correct answer still earns full stars and XP, so effort gets celebrated in the moment instead of only a grade weeks later. Berries and fertilizer from streaks grow a garden plant and unlock rarer, shiny pets — frequent, small rewards for showing up, the same instinct behind a sticker chart, just one that updates itself. Just pick a level and a nickname — no email, password or phone number. By default, progress is stored only on this device and never leaves it, unless your child chooses to sign in to sync across devices, turn on AI answer grading, or add Garden friends.
EduPet is an independent product, not affiliated with or endorsed by the Ministry of Education, Singapore. An optional parent subscription is planned — weekly progress reports, weakest-topic analytics and hint-usage insight — with learning itself staying free forever.
EduPet is a supplementary practice tool, not a replacement for classroom teaching, and finishing every topic is no guarantee of exam results. AI grading on open-ended answers is generally reliable but not perfect — that's why every question has a report link. And because progress is stored on this device by default, clearing browser data erases it unless you've exported a backup or signed in to sync.
